Return of the Instagram Lockdown Quiz – ‘Question of Sport’ for OCA Day

8.30pm Sunday 8 November

Government restrictions won’t permit us to hold the traditional rugby and lacrosse OCA Day matches this Remembrance Sunday, but the good news is that Nick Crombie, our resident quiz master, has agreed to host a Question of Sport Instagram Quiz to more than fill the void.

Fun for the whole Caterham School community during lockdown.

We are asking teams that take part in this quiz to help support a bursary place for a talented young sports person.

We have lots of prospective students who have been identified as promising young sports people by external bodies, but are not able to join Caterham or pursue their considerable sporting talents. Caterham launched the Inspiring Education fundraising appeal in 2018, with the aim of creating 20 new transformational bursary places to help children like these. Through the generosity of our community we have been able to provide 5 new bursary places so far. The children are thriving in the school, and their families are most grateful.

All donations however small really will make a difference (and as a charity the school can claim gift aid so make them go further). 100% of funds raised will go directly to providing new bursary places. Please click here to make a donation.  Thank you for your help!
