In lieu of the popular Over 60s Christmas Lunch, the OCA are hosting a Virtual French Wine tasting this festive season.

Join us for an evening of catching up with Old Cat friends from around the country and learning about two wines from the iconic Languedoc and Rhône wine regions.

Wednesday 16 December 2020, 18.00 

Theme: Southern French

Ticket cost: £25
(Ticket price includes two bottles of fine wine delivered to your door – this event has been generously subsidised by the OCA, RRP for the wine supplied and delivery is £35.)

The event will begin with a welcome from the Headmaster and OCA President, then you will be guided through two wines (1 x White, 1 x Red) by Old Cat Charlie Waud from Waud Wines along with a Q&A about the wines.

After the tutored tasting, (assuming you have not finished the wines!), why not enjoy the wines over dinner. The red wine will go perfectly with a hearty stew, or even some nice red meat.

We will leave the Zoom link open so that you can chat to your Old Cat friends for as long as you like after the tasting.

How it works:

Register below and once you are signed up, we will arrange for the 2 bottles of wine to be sent to you in plenty of time. You will be emailed the Zoom link on the day of the tasting. You can dial in just before 6 o clock, with some canapes if you fancy it, and leave everything else to us!
