Team camaraderie, the pure love of sport and the community spirit around each game are evident throughout the Old Caterhamian sporting community. Rugby, lacrosse and cricket clubs retain strong links to the school and local community.
The newly built Hill Fields Pavilion, formerly known as the Old Cats Rugby Club, includes a bar and social area offering fantastic views across the playing fields and beyond. The Old Caterhamians Terrace, supported by the OCA, provides an outdoor casual dining area where you can watch the latest match from the comfort of the Pavilion.
Regular OCA Golf Days are held at Woldingham Golf Course and, new for 2017, the prestigious Walton Heath Golf Course.

Now a thriving club offering adult and junior training and fixture list, Caterham Cougars was set up in 2010 by a team of enthusiastic parents – none of whom had ever played lacrosse but all had spent many a cold hour standing at pitch side watching their children play! The club is based at Hill Fields, Park Avenue, Caterham and benefits from the fantastic new pavilion with large viewing and hospitality areas.
The annual fixture between the Old Cats Netball and the School each spring is a highlight in the calendar. If you are interested in playing in the next fixture or would like to play more regularly, please get in touch.
Caterham School Sports Centre offers a wide range of facilities, including swimming pool, fitness suite, sports hall, all-weather pitch and the multi-use Stephen Smith Room. The School’s sports centre offers membership to OCs and local residents enabling use of its large, fully equipped gym, indoor pool, sports hall and all-weather pitch.
