Megan Denton (OC 2022) was invited to Buckingham Palace this week to collect her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Megan said “It was an incredibly rewarding event to be a part of, meeting everyone who had also managed to complete their award despite the pandemic. I began volunteering with a local Scout group as part of DofE  gaining my Chief Scouts Diamond award and the District Commissioner’s award for delivering online sessions alongside another leader during the pandemic…I’m extremely proud to have completed my Gold award as it’s not only something to put on my CV but it really has given me skills for life as well as life-long memories.”
