Matthew Hepburn
(OC 1950-1954)

Died aged 81

Whilst at Caterham, Matthew won a scholarship to Queens’ College, Cambridge to study natural sciences. He went on to become deputy head librarian at the Polytechnic of North London (now London Metropolitan University). He also had a great love of astronomy.

He is survived by his sister, Alice, four nieces and three nephews.
