We’re delighted to be able to invite Old Cats to the much loved OCA Over 60s Christmas Lunch in London. This popular event provides an opportunity to meet up with former classmates and fellow Old Cats – great company and festive pub fare.

The lunch will take place in last years venue with a festive three course menu at the Oyster Shed, which is a Youngs pub on the river close to Monument, Bank and London Bridge Stations. The Oyster Shed won Best Pub in the City of London at the National Pub & Bar Awards in 2022 and also the Best Pub Chef at the Great British Pub Awards in 2022. Click to view their website here.

Recent Over 60s lunches have proved to be wonderful occasions with shared stories, conversations and good company extending well into the afternoon.

Please arrive by 12.45 for the traditional group photo. Service will start promptly by 1pm.

Tickets will be £60 and will include a 3 course Christmas lunch and half a bottle of wine.

Starter:

• Shropshire chicken & winter truffle terrine, truffle mayo, pickled mushrooms, toasted brioche.
• Salt baked beetroot carpaccio, horseradish yoghurt, pickled raisins, crispy capers (Vegan)

Main:

• Crown of English turkey, pig in blanket, goose fat roast potatoes, crushed winter roots, maple roast parsnip, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, gravy.
• Walnut, beetroot & juniper nut roast, crushed mids, beetroot puree, crispy cavalo nero, picked blackberries, red wine gravy (Vegan, Gluten Free)

Dessert:

• Christmas pudding, brandy custard (Vegetarian)
• Granny smith apple & fig crumble, vanilla ice cream (Vegan, Gluten Free)
