We’re delighted to be able to invite Old Cats to the much loved OCA Over 60s Christmas Lunch in London. This popular event provides an opportunity to meet up with former classmates and fellow Old Cats – great company and festive pub fare.

The lunch will take place in last years venue with a festive three course menu at the Oyster Shed, which is a Youngs pub on the river close to Monument, Bank and London Bridge Stations. The Oyster Shed won Best Pub in the City of London at the National Pub & Bar Awards in 2022 and also the Best Pub Chef at the Great British Pub Awards in 2022. Click to view their website here.

Recent Over 60s lunches have proved to be wonderful occasions with shared stories, conversations and good company extending well into the afternoon.

Lunch has been booked for 12.00pm on Monday 1 December 2025. Please arrive by 11.45am for the traditional group photo. Service will start promptly by 12.15pm.

Tickets will be £55 and will include a 3 course Christmas lunch and half a bottle of wine.

Starter:

• Severn & Wye smoked salmon, fennel, clementine & watercress salad, sourdough.
• Heritage beetroot, winter leaves, pear, clementine & toasted chestnut salad (vg).

Main:

• Crown of English turkey, roast potatoes, crushed winter roots, Brussels sprouts, maple roast parsnip, pig in blanket, cranberry sauce & gravy.
• Wild mushroom gnocchi, Brussels top pesto, tenderstem broccoli, sage, chestnuts (vg).
  

Dessert:

• Christmas pudding, brandy butter ice cream (v).
• Spiced fig, orange, cranberry & walnut syllabub (vg).
  

Proceeds will be donated to the OCA.
