We welcomed members of our global CaterhamConnected (CC) community to another popular Insight Evening held at Soho House. The event brought together parents, alumni and leading voices from business and education to explore the future of learning and the skills young people need to thrive in a rapidly changing professional world.

Part of our global series of CC Insight Evenings, the event provided an opportunity for members of the community to connect, share ideas and gain valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities shaping the world of work.

The discussion was led by Mr Ceri Jones, Headmaster, and focused on the fascinating topic of Innovating Education, with speakers examining how education must evolve to prepare young people for the opportunities and challenges ahead. From the impact of artificial intelligence on career prospects to the changing expectations of employers, the evening explored how schools can equip students not only with outstanding grades and degrees, but also with the skills, confidence and adaptability to succeed.

A particular highlight was the discussion around Caterham’s introduction of a groundbreaking new UCAS-recognised qualification, developed through a collaboration with Nottingham University Business School. The first of its kind in UK education and globally, the qualification reflects Caterham’s commitment to educational innovation and to ensuring that young people are prepared for the demands of the modern professional world.

Our huge thanks to Kelvin Tang OC, who co-hosted the evening at Soho House, and to our expert speakers Dr Mark Smith, Carrie Wu, Jason Tong OC and Antoinette Hoon who shared their wisdom and insight with the audience.

The evening also showcased the value of CC, the School’s global professional and social network. Connecting Caterhamians, including current and former parents, across the world, CC offers opportunities for networking, mentoring, advice and support at every stage of life and career.

Through events such as this, CC continues to strengthen the relationships that make the Caterham community so distinctive, ensuring that wherever life takes its members, they remain connected to a vibrant, successful and supportive global network.
