After last year’s total washout following torrential rain closing the course we were blessed this September day with intermittent drizzle! Hindhead is a jewel of a course and the club treat us impeccably.

As usual we were delighted by the wide age range and conviviality of our entrants and on this rare occasion the OCs among us yielded to Old Worthian Andy Furness who beat off several strong OC performances to clinch victory with 37 points.

Our Winter Meeting will be on Friday 7 November (traditionally the curtain raiser to Old Cats’ weekend) which for the eighth straight year will be held at Walton Heath Golf Club ranked 35th in the UK and Ireland Top 100 courses for 2025.
