OC Rosie at Brighton Fringe

Rosie Dell (OC 2004) is currently performing her one woman play, God on High, at the Brighton Fringe,  until 4 June 2023.

God on High is a play by Rhoda (Rosie) Dell which is loosely autobiographical based on her mother unexpectedly passing away. Two of the characters are based on real classmates from her Caterham School days.

Rosie holds a Master in Theology from The University of St Andrews and trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in Acting and Singing before diving into writing.

God on High:

Tulip, a young, free-spirited vicar, whose debt-ridden church is on the brink of closure, is looking for a miracle.

Living in a parish with a rising drug problem, trying to revive her failing love life, dealing with her bankrupt church, her over demanding nan, plus intense parishioners, she now has to acknowledge her grief after the recent, unexpected, death of her mother. With wavering faith, and bombarded with what appear to be signs from God, Tulip needs help. When an unexpected inheritance from her mother is announced, she finds herself asking if is God testing her faith or if has He found the perfect way to solve all her problems.
