OUTSTANDING MUSICAL SUCCESS FOR ALDI H

Some Old Cats were fortunate enough to hear Aldi perform at the OCA Dinner at Drapers Hall.

Caterham School Music Department are delighted to share news that Aldi H (Upper Sixth) has received an offer of a place at the prestigious UK conservatoire, Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD) to study a Bachelor of Music degree, specialising in vocal performance. Furthermore, Aldi has progressed to the second round at the world-renowned Julliard School, in New York. We are so excited and proud of Aldi and wish her the very best of luck.

Entry into a music conservatoire is highly competitive, more so for singers, and furthermore for sopranos! GSMD is not just a leading conservatoire in the UK, but it is internationally renowned for musical excellence.

Aldi is a spectacularly talented performer, notably performing the angelic soprano top C in Allegri’s Miserere in Prague. She has given numerous operatic performances inside and outside of school. Her most recent audition recording for the UK conservatoires was exceptional with a range of repertoire from Mozart to Berg. Aldi studies with one of our own Visiting Music Teachers, Mrs Alison Duguid.
