Winners of the OCA Innovation and Collaboration Award 2019

The team of nine First Years collaborated to produce a prototype of an eco-friendly shampoo and packaging which was presented with a confidence and thoughtfulness well beyond their years. The judges were impressed by the depth of research and planning which has already gone into the development of the product, as well as the clear passion for the idea and the potential environmental benefits.

Today they collected their prize of £1000 awarded by the President of the Old Caterhamians Association. They are currently busy working with Old Caterhamian mentors to get their product to market.
