Launch of Cat Amongst the Pigeons Magazine

Over 150 parents and pupils enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating the achievements and talents of our arts and humanities pupils on Monday. The evening marked the launch of the arts and humanities magazine Cat Amongst the Pigeons and showcased the GCSE and A Level artwork from summer 2019.

Guest of honour was Old Caterhamian Mr Geoffrey Pidgeon who spoke eloquently and with his usual wry humour about the essential nature of creativity.

The students performed their written pieces in and amongst the showcased artworks. A group of student ambassadors for creativity showing parents and guests around the art trail where they could interact digitally with the artworks via QR code. We are looking forward to the new edition of the magazine being built again over this academic year. Interested pupils should contact Ms Wildsmith for how to get involved in the next edition.
